How does a conservative become more thrifty?
Hi, my name is Judy Steffes and I'm conservative. My friends will laugh. Thrifty, tight, deep pockets and short arms; I've heard them all, but relish the challenge.

Onto Ulm
ULM, Germany -- It's about 15 kilometers from Blaubeuren to Ulm. I tend to favor the smaller communities outside the bigger cities because they're easier to maneuver, the people are friendlier, and there's just a better hometown feel.

McCafe in Germany
I stopped at a McDonald's on the outskirts of Swabisch Hall. McCafe is much the same as the states except the coffee bar and the food counters are completely separate. It was like having a Starbucks inside the McDonalds.
