Gutowski replays scenarios for sagging Brew Crew
I am trying to recall the two scenarios I envisioned for the "new, improved" '06 Brewers back in March. I figured the Crew would either take the N.L. by storm and open up a surprising lead in the division, or piddle around .500 until July and put a wild-card run together in the second half.

Five years ago, Bucks were on the cusp
Five years ago this week, the Milwaukee Bucks were a very different team in a completely different place. Fresh off a thrilling, seven-game donnybrook with the erstwhile Hornets, the Bucks found themselves in a winnable, though difficult Eastern Conference finals series against the Allen Iverson-led 76ers.

Brewers' roster finally adds up
When manager Ned Yost fills out his lineup card each day, he can honestly say that every slot is stocked with quality Major League talent. That hasn't been the case in some time.
