Why does the Journal Sentinel care how much Don Smiley makes?
I am one of the people in Milwaukee who doesn't mind that Summerfest chief Don Smiley makes a lot of money and I am one of a handful who knows why this is such a big story for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The newspaper has always been obsessed with how much money people who don't work for the newspaper make. When I say "obsessed," I am not exaggerating. I have very personal experience with this.

I'm super excited for Saturday's "Archer Live," the in-person incarnation of the hit FX show that blows me away every week. I'll just throw it out there: "Archer," the animated spy comedy is not only the funniest show on TV now, but it ranks among the funniest shows of all time. Filthy, witty and beautifully drawn, it packs an amazing amount of comedy into every episode. In advance of the show, I spoke to Aisha Tyler (Lana Kane) by phone.

The NBA and the National Basketball Players Association are nearing an agreement to begin testing for human growth hormone. Players for the Milwaukee Bucks feel it's a much needed move to keep the image of the game clean, and level it out for those who aren't on performance enhancing drugs.

Sue Black takes over ownership of the Milwaukee Wave
In an announcement made at U.S. Cellular Arena on April 3, Jim Lindenberg sold the Milwaukee Wave Professional Indoor Soccer Team and its 501(c)3 charitable arm Wave of Hope to president and CEO Sue Black.
