This morning, Fromm Family Foods and Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. announced not a musical act coming to the Summerfest grounds, but animals. On Sept. 20, Fromm Petfest is coming to Henry Maier Festival Park.

Usher, along with special guest Bebe Rexha, will take the Marcus Amphitheater stage on Sunday, July 6. It's currently the only U.S. stop on the summer schedule for the R&B hitmaker, qualifying it as a genuine event for the music festival.

For a band called The Living Statues, the locally based three-man rock 'n' roll outfit has done a very poor job of keeping still. After touring and gigging around the region, the time seemed right for the band to put together its first EP. Before "Knockin'" hits, however, OnMilwaukee chatted with The Living Statues about coming together, recording in Brooklyn and bouncing between the music scenes in Madison and Milwaukee.
