Take heed, victims of potholes in the city of Milwaukee. You'll likely see this phrase from the city attorney's office countless times this year: "The winter weather has hampered the repair work and the ability of the patch materials to remain in the repairs."

Privatization talks continues to taxi at airport
The idea to privatize Milwaukee's Mitchell International Airport refuses to be grounded. The airport actually makes money for the county and isn't in major disrepair or in need of an overhaul, yet some local officials continue to carry the torch for selling it off.

"Bass Busters" program helps cops keep the peace
Under a program introduced by Ald. Bob Donovan, police have begun issuing tickets to motorists who blast their stereos at nuisance levels. If you get busted cranking your favorite tunes, the ticket can cost $237.
