What is known is that Doug Melvin will not be back for a 14th season as the team's top decision-maker. The process officially began this week of moving Melvin into an advisory role. Arts @ Large exhibit explores history of civil rights and baseball

According to a Milwaukee NNS report, students from six area schools used what they learned from Negro League baseball player Dennis Biddle and All-American Girls Professional Baseball League player Joyce Westerman about the minority influence in baseball to create original artwork, displayed alongside a traveling memorabilia collection and personal photos provided by Westerman in an Arts @ Large exhibit called "Civil Rights and Baseball."
