Dogs look even cuter in Halloween costumes
Despite the heat, hundreds turned out for the fourth annual Dog Day Afternoon. It's good to see the neighborhood participate in the doggy blessing, the free cups of puppy custard from Bella's Fat Cat, and of course the costume contest.

Mike and Kim Schmidt, owners of Bella's Fat Cat on Brady Street, don't work 15-hour days anymore. The success of their burger-and-custard joint allows them to focus on other things, like the opening of a new Bella's in Bay View.
