Badgers rock the Kohl Center with upset of Duke
Junior point guard Trevon Hughes had 26 points on 9-of-16 shooting to lead Wisconsin to the upset over No. 6 Duke Wednesday night at the Kohl Center. The victory, along with Ohio State's defeat of Florida State, gives the Big Ten its first-ever victory in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

Milwaukee Talks: Former NFL referee Bill Carollo
For the first time in 20 years, Bill Carollo doesn't have to worry about being sideswiped by a linebacker or angering 80,000 rabid fans with a controversial call. The Milwaukee businessman hung up his whistle and striped shirt when he retired as an NFL referee, but he's still busy. Carollo now works as a supervisor of officials for three conferences, including the Big Ten.

Road to Final Four begins in Boise for MU, UW
For the Wisconsin Badgers and Marquette Golden Eagles, the road to Detroit for the 2009 NCAA Final Four begins in Boise. Both teams will open the NCAA Tournament there Friday. Both teams will face tough tests. But its unlikely that the two schools' collective fan bases will be teaming up to provide a home-court advantage.

Badgers look for answers as free fall continues
A 66-63 loss to Northwestern Saturday night left Wisconsin with a 3-6 record an in ninth place in the Big Ten. What happened to the Badgers? There's a lot of questions to be answered, but in the end ... blame this stretch on the defense.
