Milwaukee's best Thai restaurant, 2008: The King and I
Capitalizing on years of shopping in open markets and cooking alongside their Thai mothers, owners Bob and Marie Phoungphol prepare authentic Thai cuisine just as they learned decades ago. Blowing out the competition,The King and I received over a third of the vote and as the oldest Thai restaurant in the city, it's easy to say their age old recipes aren't going anywhere.
