OnMedia: Numbers don't look good for "Numbers"
CBS has cut back the number of episodes planned for its veteran crime drama "Numbers." That could be the kiss of death for the show, which has started its sixth season. And NBC news anchor Brian Williams drops by "30 Rock" tonight. Is that a good idea?

We're still talking about 20 million news viewers
It's easy to dismiss the importance of ABC's announcement Wednesday that Diane Sawyer is taking over the "World News" anchor chair from Charlie Gibson at the beginning of 2010. After all, nobody watches those evening newscasts anymore -- depending on how you define "nobody."

Loss of Russert stings NBC veterans
I'm watching Tom Brokaw and Brian Williams eulogize NBC Washington Bureau Chief Tim Russert right now. If you don't know by now, Russert died this afternoon at work from an apparent heart attack.
