What would you pay for unlimited coffee?
Recently, Bruegger's began offering a special deal for unlimited coffee for a year, their "Bottomless Mug Club," for $129. On the surface, that seems like a lot, but then I did the math.

Astute readers of OnMilwaukee.com know about my penchant, or perhaps my slight addiction, to bagels and coffee. When I wrote a melancholy obituary for the Downer Avenue Einstein's Bagels in July 2006, a handful of readers sympathized with me, but the majority ridiculed me for my carb cravings.

East Side Bruegger's opens Tuesday
Months after the squat retail building was completed at 2045 E. North Ave., Bruegger's bagels is finally opening in the anchor of the space. The eatery, which already looks rarin' to go, opens to customers at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7.
