Bold space, patio and drinks distinguish Bayou
Bayou is new, so we will need to watch how the growing pains of a new restaurant allow them to shake out. But even if OnMilwaukee's Amy Carlson doesn't go back for the food, she says she'll look forward to drinking a mango mojito or a sazerac on its dazzling river patio.

Bayou Restaurant and Lounge docks Cajun cuisine on the Milwaukee River
Robert and William Jenkins, 30-year-old twin brothers, are opening a Cajun fusion restaurant and lounge called Bayou along the banks of the Milwaukee River and as it takes shape, it is definitely proving to be something different for the city.

The Bayou is born
Along the banks of the Milwaukee River a bold new dining experience is taking shape. Bayou restaurant and lounge, 2060 N. Humboldt Ave, won’t be the city's first Cajun restaurant, but it will certainly be something different than what's we've seen.
