Holiday spirit shines on Candy Cane Lane
Nearly 300 residents of a West Allis neighborhood decorate their homes with festive lights and displays to raise money to help fight childhood cancer. This year is the 25 anniversary of a Milwaukee-area tradition: Candy Cane Lane.

Delight in Milwaukee as a city of lights this season
Dazzling guests with new displays and an abundance of activities each year, the Milwaukee Holiday Lights Festival is southeastern Wisconsin's largest winter festival. With millions of lights (all energy-efficient LEDs) Downtown is aglow this festive season. Other areas of the city are fully beaming, too. Here's a quick "tour" of Milwaukee, a city of lights 2008.

Living on Candy Cane Lane: Festive or frightening?
I think it's great that Candy Cane Lane raises so much money every year for the MACC fund, and I'll certainly drive through once a year as long as my kids are into it. But to live there? Well, that's another story.
