Chef profile: Ristorante Bartolotta's Zachary Baker
Foodies around town know the Bartolotta name, of course, and Bartolotta chefs like Adam Siegel and Juan Urbieta are also pretty high profile in Milwaukee. But as anyone knows, it takes a village -- or at least a crack staff -- to make a restaurant like Wauwatosa's Ristorante Bartolotta hum on a daily basis. So, when we met the tall and outgoing Zak Baker recently at the Ristorante, we decided that you ought to know him, too.

Hotch-A-Do makes a fresh and tasty sandwich
Continuing with my recent plan to try new (to me) restaurants, the other day I walked the 100 yards from my office to Hotch-A-Do for a quick lunch. I didn't go in with any expectations, but I walked out full, satisfied and really pleased the restaurant replaced the laundromat I used to frequent when I was 22.

Chipotle teams with Farm Aid to help family farmers
Next Wednesday, Aug. 29, Chipotle Mexican Grill will donate proceeds from sales of items made with naturally raised pork, beef and chicken to Farm Aid.

OMC announced that Marquette University would be one of 21 schools to compete in the Chipotle Mexican Grill's first-ever advertising contest earlier this month. This week, all the spots have been turned in for the company to choose its favorite.
