Atomic Valentine salutes closing musical landmark
Atomic Records is a major force in the history in Milwaukee's rock and roll scene of the past three decades. Now that Atomic will be history, local musicians think that owner Rich Menning deserves a 100 megaton send-off.

The Nelsonics try a new twist: words
After The Nelsonics' all-instrumental self-titled debut -- recently reissued by Portland, Ore.-based Hammond Beat -- drummer and group namesake Don Nelson says band members wanted to mix things up a bit. Eight of the 12 songs on the new CD, "Ruins of Rome," feature vocals.
