After years of hearing that I just don't understand NASCAR, I'm willing to give stock-car racing a try.

After a good try, NASCAR racing's still hard to watch
OMC weekend sports columnist Dave Roloff recently gave NASCAR the old college try. Unfortunately, he found the race was quite boring -- no matter how you look at it.

Former MLB superstar Jose Canseco's book has poured more gas on the steroids fire and has dominated sports news this week. All that controversy, however, is not my current dilemma -- the Daytona 500 is.
