There's growth everywhere in Downtown Milwaukee, but still opportunities and eyesores. For me, these four spaces have been vacant for too long. I see them all nearly everyday. Let's all chime in and help the owners or leasing agents find the right new tenant.

The Westown Farmers' Market kicks off on Wednesday, June 1 at Zeidler Union Square. The market offers a variety of lunch, prepared food and handcrafted art and jewelry, every Wednesday through Wednesday, Oct. 26.

The new ownership of the Grand Avenue announce the project partners aligned for the redevelopment of the downtown property. The ownership group is a joint venture between the Aggero Group and Hempel.

OK, I'll admit that when I first heard that the former Blue Cross Blue Shield office building at 401 W. Michigan St., was going to be transformed, I was skeptical. But I guess there's a reason that the group that transformed the place is called Phoenix Development.
