NLDS Notebook: Offense getting more offensive
A lack of consistent hitting has been problematic for the Brewers all season. But even after a downright brutal September, the offense has gotten even worse for the Brewers in the playoffs -- they've managed just three runs on seven hits while falling behind, 2-0, to the Phillies. And nobody has struggled more than right fielder Corey Hart.

Ben Sheets was expected to get off to a good start but few thought Gabe Kapler -- who spent 2007 as a minor league manager -- would hit like he has so far. The two are big reasons the Brewers are 5-1.
