Luckystar Studio Gallery relaunches out west
Always a Milwaukee art institution, Luckystar Studio Gallery has done stints Riverwest and the Third Ward. Now, after a short hiatus, Gene and Bridget Griffith Evans are happy to re-open their gallery in Washington Heights.

Luckystar Studio Gallery re-opens in Washington Heights
Luckystar Studio Gallery founders Gene Evans and Bridget Griffith Evans were only absent from Milwaukee for a short time before they realized they missed it, and now are back to re-open their gallery in its new Washington Heights space at 5407 W. Vliet St.

Couple extinguishes Luckystar to fire up M-80
After owning Luckystar Gallery for four years, Gene and Bridget Griffith Evans closed the gallery to pursue a new gallery cooperative, M-80. Their first show, "M-80: The Biggest of Bangs," takes place Friday, Aug. 26 at 5 p.m.
