Wilson Golf is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2014, and its history is as rich as the game itself with over 60 major championships won, and players on its roster from Gene Sarazen to Arnold Palmer to Padraig Harrington. Despite that history the manufacturer slipped from the golfing consciousness, until a renewed effort the last few yeares has restored its place in the game. Wilson isn't just your father's clubs anymore.

Wisconsin Club Country Club to undergo renovation

One of the city's, if not the state's, top golf courses will undergo a multimillion-dollar renovation beginning next month. The Wisconsin Club Board of Directors approved a $3.5 million makeover of its private Country Club, located at at 6200 W. Good Hope Rd., by renowned architect Bruce Hepner.
