An unexpected duo turns Grammys upside down
Long after I began to ignore the Grammys, which usually eschews quality music in favor commercial success, I awoke this morning to hear that Alison Krauss and Robert Plant swept the place clean last night.

Sucher helps Benet to two Grammy nominations
Eric Benet's recent "Love and Life" disc -- recorded with Milwaukee producer and engineer Kevin Sucher, at Sucher's The Laboratory Recording Studio in the Blatz building Downtown -- has earned a pair of Grammy nominations.

Lynch nabs Grammy
Milwaukee jazz trumpeter Brian Lynch, who now lives and works in New York City, won the Grammy for Best Latin Jazz album for his record "Simpatico," with Latin jazz legend Eddie Palmieri. Especially interesting is the fact that the disc has only been available via Lynch's site at Artist Share.com.
