Pure calls it quits -- for good
A weekend shooting seems to have been the last straw for Pure, 162 W. Wisconsin Ave. Westown Association executive director Ellen Winters received a call today from Marv Berg, the owner of the downtown nightclub Pure, saying he was calling it quits.

"Far From Heaven" is beautiful to look at -- and sometimes makes us laugh -- and Julianne Moore and Raymond Deagan serve up masterful performances. So why, in the end, don't we really care about any of these people?
