The week before the National Veterans Wheelchair Games came to town, Visit Milwaukee, sent out window decals, stickers and table tents to Downtown bars and restaurants to put in their windows to welcome the gamers.

Hines relieves McGee of committee duties
"In light of the recent charges against Alderman Michael McGee, Jr., I am, effective immediately, relieving him of all committee assignment duties," said Common Council President Willie Hines in a statement issued at 4:02 p.m. Tuesday.
