Marquette Interchange: the final verdict
When the Marquette Interchange was under construction, I couldn't wait until opened so that the clogs could open up like some magic traffic Drano. But now that it's done, shouldn't things be moving more freely?

I suspected it on the drive home yesterday when I got on the freeway on a new ramp. This morning, it was confirmed. The Marquette Interchange is open!

Getting MPS off the bus
Busing issues in Milwaukee Public Schools always get the big headlines -- sometimes too big. Take, for instance, a recent banner announcing a new plan for MPS that would reduce "massive busing," a plan envisioned by new School Board member Michael Bonds.

Drive I-94 eastbound or westbound and you'll see signs for hundreds of restaurants, tourist locations, gas stations and other destinations. Why nothing for the Bradley Center?
