As Milwaukee-based Latest Flame Records prepares to turn 10 years old in 2012, it has issued its (presumably tentative) release schedule for next year.

IfIHadAHiFi release is delayed

Last month I talked to drummer DJ Hostettler about his band IfIHadAHiFi's new CD, "Nada Surf," due out by now on Milwaukee's own Latest Flame Records. But, recently, label boss Dan Hanke told me there was a delay on the release date because a sample needed clearance before production could commence. Now, the release date has been pushed out by months.

IfIHadAHiFi trades disc names with Nada Surf

After a lot of talk about the project, Latest Flame is getting ready to release IfIHadAHiFi's "Nada Surf EP +3" next month. The title of the record is a reference to Nada Surf's 2010 covers record called "If I Had A Hi-Fi."
