Everyone's welcome at PJ's Yoga Shala
PJ Heffernan owns a Waukesha-based yoga studio called PJ's Yoga Shala, but don't confuse his practice with a traditional business. "It is nothing like any studio you have ever been to. I built it with spirit in mind, not dollars," he says. Heffernan teaches a free yoga class every Sunday at Invivo, 2060 N. Humboldt Blvd.

Smith returns home to launch "The Pool"
Milwaukeeans all know Mark Borchardt as the face of "American Movie," but director Chris Smith isn't quite as high profile, even here at home. Unless, that is, you're passionate about film and especially home-grown filmmakers. Most recently, Smith wrote the screenplay for and directed "The Pool," filmed in India. It begins a week-long Milwaukee run on Friday.

A local, national and international Mac tech support debacle
On June 3, I bought a new MacBook to replace my trusty but ancient iBook from 2002. Along with it, I bought a new Linksys Wireless-N router, which replaced my "B" router from the old computer. Out of the box, something seemed fishy.
