Milwaukee's best Japanese, 2009: Izumi's
Izumi's, 2150 N. Prospect Ave., has earned a reputation in Milwaukee for friendly, accommodating service, as well as a tasty menu that doesn't break the bank. OnMilwaukee.com readers voted it their favorite Japanese restaurant for the third straight year and, again, Nanakusa was a close second.

Our favorite Milwaukee "decadent dishes"
Our editorial staff really does try to eat a healthy diet. That said, there's a time and a place for pigging out. We'd be dead if we ate like this all the time, but on special occasions, certain Milwaukee gluttonous, decadent dishes are just what the doctor ordered. Here is a list of some of our favorites.
