Matt Krajewski and his bandmates - fellow Hoosier Joe Vent and Brian Wendtlandt - are all dads and all have full-time jobs. But New Harmony Indiana isn't a hobby. All three have long been involved in the Milwaukee music scene and NHI is just the latest entry on three long local music resumes.

When The Mike Benign Compulsion took the stage at Turner Hall on Saturday night, the four veteran musicians knew that one of their heroes - REM's Mike Mills - was in the house. The band was opening for The Baseball Project supergroup that - for the tour at least - includes Mills.

The Mike Benign Compulsion started as a solo project and grew into a band. "Rollicking Musical," the group's debut CD, is launched with a party gig on Friday, May 14, at Shank Hall. The non-smoking show starts at 8 p.m.
