City still weighing options for Bay View development
The City of Milwaukee is ready to unload seven acres of prime real estate in Bay View -- land that had been home to an Army Reserve site. The Department of City Development identified the site at Bay and Lincoln streets as a "key development opportunity or catalytic project."

Opinion: Doyle's freeze hits Walker's message
Although Gov. Doyle's budget is riddled with financial question marks and spending hikes, his proposed "property tax freeze" was a shrewd move of political gamesmanship, designed to shoot an arrow into the heart of Walker's gubernatorial campaign.
