New acoustic festival gathers both young and seasoned talent
Lake Street Cafe in Elkhart Lake hosts some of the best acoustic artists in the region at the first annual Midwest Acoustic Music Festival on Saturday, July 9. Best of all, admission is free for the noon until midnight event.

Although she's been in bands, has sung backup on other people's projects and has worked in the music business, Milwaukee-based Julie Moffitt has finally released her first solo record. "Everything I Never Asked For" was recorded with local veteran Mike Hoffmann.
