I love the hustle and bustle of Miller Park, but for a quieter experience that's just as much fun, you should really check out Kapco Park in Mequon, where last night the Lakeshore Chinooks won their season home opener.

The Lakeshore Chinooks have released the 2013 schedule of games this summer at Kapco Park in Mequon. The Chinooks first home game is May 30 against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters.

Though the Lakeshore Chinooks are not technically a minor league team - the Northwoods League is an amateur league that doesn't pay its players to preserve their NCAA eligibility - their games, played at Kapco Park on the idyllic Concordia University campus, are just as fun.

Eric Semmelhack didn't know which Major League Baseball team would draft him this week, and sat oblivious to the whole process Tuesday as he prepared to play for the Lakeshore Chinooks summer league team. He was in the dugout when his dad called to tell him the Milwaukee Brewers had drafted him.
