If you ask me why I choose to be a volunteer tutor with the children of MPS it would be an impossibility to narrow the limitless number of responses that could be given. The children of this city, simply put, are the greatest product we have to offer to the future.

The National Library Legislative Days are April 23-24 at our nation's capital. I love kids and I love schools and I love the excitement of learning and sharing knowledge and I think teaching can be a rewarding - tough, but rewarding - job. I envy those that do it well. But, and I don't want this to come off the wrong way, I'm glad I'm not a teacher right now.
