For the past three years Theresa Nemetz has been growing her Milwaukee Food Tours, some of which - like the Brady Street tour - draw on her Sicilian-American roots. Now, Nemetz is going all out Italian with her latest invention, Milwaukee's Pizza Tour. The first tour is July 29 and the trek repeats Aug. 12 and 26 and Sept. 9 and 24.

Are these restaurants kid friendly?

Some Milwaukee restaurants are questionable as to whether or not kids would be welcome. Recently, I considered bringing my kids to a few restaurants that are more "grown up" eateries, but wondered if we would get looks of disgust.

Classic Slice represents Bay View in pizza contest

It's no surprise that Classic Slice agreed to be a part of OnMilwaukee.com's "Slice of Milwaukee" pizza contest. After all, we're talking about a staff that's not afraid to get creative with their 'za recipes, like the carnivorous Meat-tallica or the Bangkok Chicken Sriracha. Classic Slice, along with three other local pizza joints, will compete to create the best Milwaukee-inspired pizza.
