Local filmmakers screen at Cannes Film Festival
In last year's Milwaukee 48-Hour Film Project contest, a short called "Weeds" won Best Picture, Best Musical Score, Best Special Effects, Best use of Prop, Best Graphics, Best Sound Design and Audience Choice Honors. The locally-made film now screens at Cannes.
