We've just received news that a family that relocated to Milwaukee from Casale Monferrato in the Piedmont region of Italy will open a gelato and coffee shop, in the Italian style, in Oconomowoc in December.

Pipito salutes Porticello with new restaurant
Tony Pipito, owner of Mama's Italian Cuisine and the attached Papa's Social Club at 7712-18 W. Burleigh St., will open a new Italian restaurant in Oconomowoc this fall. Porticello, named for the Sicilian town of his forebears, will be managed by his son, Steve.
