After renovation, Blu will be smoke-free
Blu, atop The Pfister Hotel in Downtown, is finally going smoke-free. It will also close at the end of September for a "complete renovation."

Did Pfister ghosts help the Brewers sweep the Marlins?
The Milwaukee Brewers today completed a three game sweep of the Florida Marlins. The Crew's bats came up big in the series with Prince Fielder getting hot, among others. But, according to Marlins' media it might have been the ghosts of The Pfister Hotel that helped knock the Fish off its game.

"Lunar" glows with a full moon at Blu
Tonight, Blu on the 23rd floor of the Pfister Hotel kicks off "Lunar," a monthly celebration of the full moon. Located on the top floor, Blu boasts floor to ceiling windows throughout; you can even take a glimpse of the moon over Lake Michigan from the bathroom.

Third Ward tour traces Milwaukee's ghost stories
Allison Jornlin isn't sure she believes in ghosts. In reference to the topic, she calls herself a Fortean, a term named for the American writer and researcher Charles Fort who cataloged curiosities and confounded scientists with anomalies they couldn't explain. Essentially, she's neither a strict believer nor non-believer.
