Milwaukee Public Museum polishes up "Pearls" exhibit
The Milwaukee Public Museum will shine when it unveils "Pearls: A Natural History" March 5-June 26. The exhibit contains the largest and most comprehensive collection of pearls ever assembled. It traces the lore, legends and facts of this treasure of nature.

Milwaukee exports huge shovel to Russia
The Port of Milwaukee will load a huge P&H electric mining shovel today for export to St. Petersburg, Russia on the Palessa, a vessel owned by the Danish shipping company J. Poulsen Shipping.
