Make the trip south and you'll run into plenty of Milwaukeeans flocking to Austin, Texas, fulfilling the notion that it is becoming a "transplant" city. But, we certainly aren't the only ones.

In 1994, Carolina Soza-Gonzales' husband was sentenced to die by lethal injection for a crime committed in Texas. Today, she continues to work toward a resentencing because she believes he is innocent. A fundraiser for the family will take place at The National, 839 W. National Ave., on Friday, May 15.
