UWM's campus tug of war
It's city vs. suburbs for UW-Milwaukee as the latter decides how to expand its landlocked campus. While UWM officials appear to favor a site in Wauwatosa for its College of Engineering and Science, Milwaukee officials want the school to look Downtown.

Mandatory car insurance plan circles the Capitol
State Sen. John Lehman (D-Racine) is circulating a bill that would require all drivers to carry insurance providing coverage of up to $50,000 for personal injury and $10,000 for property damage.

Giant battle stewing beneath the Hoan
The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewage District is ready to entertain suitors to run the district’s wastewater operations for the next decade or so. Its first 10-year contract with United Water to run the facility will end early next year.
