After operating two bars, Mike Zimmer closed Zim's Sports Bar & Grill and is moving on in the corporate world.

Mike Zimmer will reopen his Zim's sports bar and restaurant at 814 S. 2nd St, a building that most recently housed the Fifth Ward Pub and Grill.

According to a sign in the window of the old Zim's, 770 N. Milwaukee St., an application for a new Class B Tavern License has been applied for by TDF Investments, LLC. The name of the new bar is Catch 22.

On Sunday, owner Mike Zimmer held a final Packers party at Zim's. Remains of the party were still on the tables this morning.
