"Gene and Joan in Lodi, etc." is open to the public in an East Side apartment tonight and will feature 11 projectors simultaneously playing slides of peoples' vacations from the 1940s to the '70s. The slides were collected from thrift and estate sales over the past 10 years.

"Condom Pope" portrait rolls out for the public

"Eggs Benedict," a portrait of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI that's made from 17,000 condoms, was installed at Portrait Society Gallery. It will be on display starting Thursday, April 11. The opening reception is from 6 to 9 p.m.
