I used to be a disobedient smoker. I was a two pack a day guy, except on good days (which meant I was out until bar time) when I'd climb to almost three packs. Now, I wonder why anyone still smokes.

Sure, non-smokers are stoked that smoking will be outlawed in public places -- including bars -- come next year. But will they sing a different tune when they have to foot the bill for lost tax revenues?

It's been years in the making, and the controversy was (and still is) high, but I think we all knew deep down it was only a matter of time before Wisconsin imposed a state-wide indoor smoking ban, joining 25 other states.
