It might seem odd to begin promoting cycling while the winter season looms ahead, but this Thursday, an event aims to prove that it is never too late to pick up a bike and, perhaps, it's always too early to hang it up.

Get lucky at Pedal Pushers' adult prom
The Pedal Pusher Society's adult prom takes place Saturday, Sept. 26, at Stonefly Brewery, 735 E. Center St. The tag line of this year's prom is "No free food, no free drinks, just the most awesome night of your life." Organizer Susie Seidelman says, "There's an excellent chance you'll get lucky in the kissing booth."

The blurry lines of cycling under the influence laws
In Wisconsin, driving a motorized vehicle with a blood / breath alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.08 or greater could land you with a driving under the influence (DUI) citation, fines, license revocation and, depending on your record, imprisonment and possible seizure of your vehicles. But what about operating a bicycle while intoxicated?

Man rides world's smallest bike in Shorewood
Bobby Hunt, AKA "Circus Boy," is in the Guinness Book of World Records for riding the world's tiniest bike and he recreated the stunt on the Shorewood High School Auditorium stage.
