Milwaukee's trick-or-treat is from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Do you stick around and hand out candy or do you make a point to leave during this time? And if you do hand out candy, will you give the sugary goods to kids not wearing costumes?

Indeed, I have some fine memories from this weekend. I won the OnMilwaukee.com costume contest. I made an altar honoring my grandparents for Day of the Dead. A gnome nuzzled my chest at The Mad Planet.

I remember going trick or treating as a child when the lady down the street from my grandmother's house always gave out Rice Krispie treats wrapped in saran wrap with a nickel pressed into the bottom.
