There is a group of young girls who have fallen in love with another young girl who can't get enough of the color pink in her life. It is, of course, "Pinkalicious," the minor phenomenon you can hardly avoid if you have a young girl in your life. And now you have a chance to see her action. As a food writer and parent, my perspective is not so much is a restaurant kid-friendly, but more, "Is my kid restaurant-friendly?" Let's face it. We're all, with kids or without kids, paying the same price for the food and service at any given establishment, so why should it be any different for us if we have our 6-year-old with us?

There isn't a cake large enough to feed all the families who've benefited from the COA Youth & Family Center. On Saturday, June 19, the center will celebrate 10 years of service with a picnic at the COA Playground.

One could understand how the Milwaukee Youth Symphony and First Stage Children's Theater are literally, in concert, when it comes to the arts. Now, the organizations are in harmony with the future, and a new Youth Arts Center.
