Would you give up your bag at gunpoint?
Knock on wood, I have not been robbed or mugged at gunpoint, so whenever I hear that a victim gets injured after refusing to give up a backpack or purse to someone with a weapon, I get really judgmental.

Tosa police wow Mayfair shoppers with fast response
I go to Mayfair all the time and I would never expect to be held up at gun point inside the mall. But that's exactly what happened to someone yesterday at lunch time, it seems. Not in the parking lot, but right inside the mall, inside a bathroom. Shoppers rightfully praised the Wauwatosa police for their speed and efficiency.

Hegerty to Hines: Council controls police budget
Milwaukee Chief of Police Nannette Hegerty released a copy of a letter she penned to Common Council President Willie Hines in response to an April 12 letter in which Hines claimed that Hegerty, in a newspaper editorial she wrote, blamed the Common Council for the rise in crime in Milwaukee.
