According to its website, iPic Glendale, located in Bayshore Town Center will soon add a new restaurant. Big Daddy's Brew & 'Que is set to open "in the next coming weeks" - according to an online posting - and the eatery is currently accepting employment applications for servers, bartenders, hosts and kitchen staff.

The burger I got at the Ovation was incredibly good. A high-class ground Angus patty with a crisp and well-seared outside and a nice pink and hot inside.

The usual movie theater fare, like oily popcorn, Goobers and -- if you're lucky -- a Mr. Pibb, is still a treat (a pricey treat) to enhance one's film-watching experience. However, in the past decade, a few Milwaukee-area theaters introduced expanded menus that include "real food" like sandwiches and pizzas, allowing guests to combine their dinner-and-a-movie date into one destination.

Completing my Christmas tradition of Chinese food and a movie, I finally checked out the new IPic theater at Bayshore Tuesday. It's a little overwhelming at first, but overall, it's a great way to see a movie.
