It's now mid-November, so obviously Thanksgiving is coming; it always does. And while I appreciate the time off work and understand the historical context (however skewed it's become over the centuries), I gotta say; the food frankly bores me.

Calories be damned; it's Thanksgiving!
Pre-Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times of year as we all gear up to stuff ourselves with turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, cranberries and just about every other kind of fixing you can fathom. This year we will eat our way through the Thursday of Thanks with friends and family in a glorious feast and fete of gluttony.
