Cooler temps revive passion for red wine

Maybe it's just me, but I lean more toward beer in summer and wine as the weather cools. Because I tend to choose reds over whites, I like the warming feeling of holding a glass of red wine and of the wine as I swallow it. Here are a few wines I've tasted lately.


European style cheese shop on the docket for Tosa Village

The Wauwatosa Village may have its very own cheese shop as soon as early December. A proposal for The Village Cheese Shop for the retail space at 1430 Underwood Ave., is slated to go before the Wauwatosa Plan Commission on Monday, Oct. 10.
