Atomic Valentine salutes closing musical landmark
Atomic Records is a major force in the history in Milwaukee's rock and roll scene of the past three decades. Now that Atomic will be history, local musicians think that owner Rich Menning deserves a 100 megaton send-off.

The East Side's Envy closes shop
I started getting worried when I noticed that Envy, a fun, independent women's apparel store with a skater flair at 2203 N. Farwell Ave., not only extended its holiday sale way past the conclusion of the holiday season, but more so, inflated it.

Atomic closing is a sad sign of the times
I was saddened to see that Atomic Records will close in February, but not entirely surprised. Let's face it, if Tower tanked and Virgin closed a downtown Chicago megastore before there was even an economic crisis, how can we expect Rich Menning to weather the storm?
